Notes: In the sense of 所有 (ABC '一切'; CED '一切'; Ci Yuan '一切' 3; GHC '一切' 4; Kroll '一' 3). 一切 is used both in literary and modern Chinese. For example, in modern Chinese, 一切的路都封上了。 'The entire road was closed off.' (Lao She, 2003, p. 175) In Buddhist texts 一切 translates the Sanskrit word sarva (BCSD '一切'; MW 'sarva').
