Notes: Sanskrit equivalent: bodhi, same in Pali, literally meaning 'awakened', similar in meaning to 覺. Bodhi is the all-knowledge of a Buddha 佛, pratyekabuddha 獨覺, or śrāvaka 聲聞. In Theravāda Buddhism bodhi refers to perfect insight into the Four Noble Truths 四聖諦 (BL 'bodhi'; Shambhala 'bodhi'; FGDB '菩提').
